I bought this palette Sleek MakeUp i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette- Oh So Special from Boots awhile ago that everyone close to me kept raving about this so amazing make up brand which had an offer £7.99 buy one and get one half price for £3.99. I'll be honest to all bloggers I had my doubts about this brand and its packaging design especially the outer compact which looks less value quality in other words cheap made but to me it looked very morden, efficient and clever way to get in touch with the wider audience of all generation especially to those who are counting every pennies. And let me tell you guys I was not disppointed with this brand infact I'm glad some one out there in those super rich high make up industry has finally paided attenation that even the non rich need good quality make up with resonable price that don't break the bank and most important thing of all is you've got spare change left to have a drink or take the kids out.
Ok guys enough about "my oh so truth theories", the Oh So Special is very pigmented palette with lots of selection of softer sades of colour also along with some smokey colours that comes in a reasonable compact rectangle container where it contains all the make ups in a small circular shape with a black colored two end mediunm sized brush same color as the outer compact like some posh high end make up company.
In this palette you are spoiled with lots of choices of shimmery or matte pretty colours for e.g. my favourite color is the Ribbion which is a deep matte colour and Gift Basket is a shimmer colour which looks great for the summer outing or in the autum which be transformed into a smoky colour with a hint of Noir when you outline the eye shpe near the lashes like an eye liner that gives an dramatic look for night out in the town. Its easy, small and slim sized compact make up kit that be carried in a bag without taking up much space.
These are the colours that comes in this palette in chronogical order are: Bow, Organza, Ribbion, Gift Basket, Glitz, Celebrate, Pamper, Gateau, The Mail, Boxed, Wrapped Up and Noir.
The colours are very versatile but at the same very chic like the the Channel look we see so often see in TV adverts and Music videos like Pixi Lott - Nasty. And yes ladies and gentleman I am comparing to the Channel look and I'm proud to say it out loud.
Ok lets get down to the Pros and Cons: the Compact is slightly stiff so you'll have to use both hands to pull it open with a bit of strenghth which I suppose it gives you a piece of mind that it won't come open in your bag. Also if you are someone with tanned or olive skin coloring the Pamper and The Mail colouring in the palette isn't so great.
Pros: The Sleek palette has some deep pigmentation colour that doesn't come off and lasts all day long like premium make up. Resonable price and you don't have to compromise on quality. It comes in no nonsense simple packaging where you know what your're getting your moneys worth.
